About the Role

As a Thermal Analysis Engineer I, you will begin your career in thermal analysis within the aerospace industry. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to build foundational knowledge and skills, supporting the development and analysis of thermal systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the analysis and development of thermal systems used in aerospace applications
  • Apply basic aerospace principles, standards, theories, and first-order analysis to support engineering projects
  • Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and complexity under senior engineer supervision
  • Prepare and document technical data, reports, and presentations to support project initiatives
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to team members and senior engineers
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, technical reviews, and brainstorming sessions
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively within team environments

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Entry-level with 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of thermal analysis
  • Limited use and application of aerospace principles, standards, and theories
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers
  • Clear verbal and written communication of technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with thermal analysis software such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, or COMSOL
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for thermal analysis and post-processing
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Compensation

Pay Range: $82,646.00 to $113,638.25

Base compensation determined on a case-by-case basis based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
