You will design complex chips that enable fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide, working across systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering teams.
What you will do
- Design ASICs and FPGAs for Starlink projects, implementing complex SoC blocks using Verilog or SystemVerilog
- Optimize designs for power, performance and area
- Own the full ASIC/FPGA design lifecycle from architectural concept through microarchitecture, design partitioning, backend collaboration, and lab bring-up and validation
- Build physical and digital tools to analyze data collected on orbit and in the lab
- Design test systems for FPGA/ASIC validation, interoperability, and integration with DSP and communications subsystems
- Collaborate with software engineers on production software for your designs
Basic qualifications
