CNC Machinist (Raptor Combustion Devices & Valves) - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate, setup, and program edit CNC machines to deliver Raptor program rate targets
• Perform precision setups of DMG, Nigata, and Heller CNC machines
• Prioritize daily work to maintain high machine uptime across your assigned shop area
• Manage cutting tools in CNC machines, ensuring all needed tools are loaded and measured before upcoming programs
• Perform on and off machine deburring to maintain consistent part quality
• Operate clean line equipment, CMM, borescope, and general part finishing per requirements
• Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on CNC machines
• Maintain the shop including chip bins, oils, greases, 5S, and general upkeep
• Remain flexible in a fast-paced environment and support teammates
• Complete work instructions and test plans to document process data
• Introduce fresh ideas in machining, fixturing, and tooling for optimal efficiency

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of CNC machining experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of CNC machinery operation
• Proficient knowledge in high efficiency milling and turning
• Ability to read accurately, write clearly, and perform basic arithmetic
• Experience in shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading, and parts measurement
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills
• Capacity to learn all assets in the shop and cross-train peers

Additional Requirements

• Capable of lifting 35 lbs unassisted
• Available for 2nd shift (2:45 PM - 12:45 AM)
• Capable of standing and kneeling for 8 hours
• Able to perform physical and repetitive movements including bending, twisting, handling tools and controls
• Able to work in environments with distracting sound and noise levels

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range:

• CNC Machinist Level 1: $23.00-$27.00/hour
• CNC Machinist Level 2: $26.00-$32.50/hour
• CNC Machinist Level 3: $31.00-$38.00/hour

Your level and base salary will be determined case-by-case based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
