Avionics R&D Technician (III or Senior) Verified today
Your Mission
True Anomaly is seeking a technician to build our new generation of spacecraft. You will work all aspects of spacecraft build, factory setup and operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test spacecraft harnesses per engineering drawings and direction
- Assist with the setup and execution of thermal vacuum chambers and vibration facilities
- Ensure processes and cleanroom protocols are followed by all personnel
- Own the product build from piece parts to full assemblies
- Execute anomaly dispositions from engineering
Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in relevant field
- 2+ years of professional experience in spacecraft or space products assembly
- Demonstrated excellence in assembly and integration
- Proficiency in reading drawings, process sheets, and instructions
- Experience with ESD, FOD, and cleanroom operations
- Experience with spacecraft harness fabrication, rework and installation
- Experience with torquing and staking
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with little input on requirements or management oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a cleanroom environment
Compensation
- Technician III: $36.00 to $50.50 per hour
- Senior Technician: $43.50 to $60.00 per hour
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. Equity plus benefits including health, dental, vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, and parental leave.
Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
