SAR Data Exploitation Program Manager

Voyager seeks a SAR Data Exploitation Program Manager to oversee development of cutting-edge automated target recognition software for moving and stationary objects in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. You will manage a team of radar subject matter experts and machine learning engineers, with considerable responsibility and direct impact on US government and customer priorities.

You will balance leadership, technical, communication, and stakeholder relationship tasks. You must understand SAR phenomenology deeply, have real-world experience with deep neural networks, and demonstrate proven executive communication skills. You will write technical proposals, keep external customers engaged, and facilitate internal communication across organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee development of automated target recognition software for SAR data
  • Lead and mentor a team of radar engineers and machine learning specialists
  • Deliver programs on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding technical performance measures
  • Create physics simulations and develop methods to account for bias between simulated and real-world data
  • Write clear, technically solid proposals and support business development
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement through compelling written and visual technical content
  • Build productive relationships with partners and resolve complex technical and business needs

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Active DoD Top Secret government clearance
  • Strong background in physics and/or electrical engineering
  • Familiarity with SAR radar sensing phenomenology and signal processing
  • Experience with deep neural networks
  • Proven executive communication skills with ability to create compelling technical content
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical proposals and assist in business development
  • Proven ability to mentor, provide actionable feedback, and conduct performance evaluations

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $200,000 to $270,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and location. Package includes discretionary annual bonus, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings, and wellness program.
